Aozora is a 100% New Zealand-owned and operated company that specialises in international trade with Asia. We have established strong business throughout the Asian region, particularly in Japan, South Korea and China. We are also expanding our trade to include Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and India.
Our primary business is the fresh produce trade, and the export of wine. Aozora New Zealand’s bilingual management and staff all have vast experience in dealing in Asia and understand what is required to build long term, mutually beneficial business relationships in this important foreign market.
Aozora also operates joint ventures with Chilean companies Greenvic and Cruxagri to supply Chilean fresh produce to markets throughout Asia. Please see the Products page for more details.
“Aozora” means “clear blue sky” in Japanese, and reinforces the positive, environmentally friendly image of New Zealand and Chile held by all our Asian customers.
