Blueberries
Aozora sources quality New Zealand blueberries for the Asian market, particularly Japan and China. Consumption of blueberries has increased thanks to their proven health benefits, and NZ blueberries in particular have an excellent reputation worldwide for their quality and sweetness.
NZ blueberries are available from November to April. Peak demand is typically between February and March.
Chilean blueberries also compete with New Zealand during its blueberry season, however Aozora is able to source both conventional and organic blueberries out of Chile during this period also. Please refer to our Chilean blueberries page for more details.
