Maize
Aozora sources high quality maize for a variety of international markets. We also supply domestically in New Zealand. We have numerous integrated suppliers who have their own drying and storage facilities.
Our maize comes from large, established suppliers located across the North Island, spreading the supply risk and widening the supply window.
We can combine supply to fill very large orders of soft yellow dent starching corns, or waxy maize for export. We also have access to fully certified organic maize for export.
Aozora exports around 3,000MT of 100% non-GMO maize to Japan and Korea each year.
For domestic markets, maize can be supplied dried ex silo — or “wet” ex the field.
Our maize is available for export from late May each year.
